Rooftop Restorations proudly uses and recommends Edmonds ventilators (Windmaster®) and Solatube® Skylights.

Ventilators – Edmonds Windmaster

Unique features and benefits include:

  • Dual bottom bearing system. Windmaster uses two precision steel bearings located in a patented bottom bearing assembly. This ensures smooth and quiet operation.
  • Replaceable bearings. Windmaster is the first domestic vent where the bearings can be easily replaced by the homeowner
  • Dome reinforced against hail. The life of a ventilator can be lessened if the dynamic balance of the product is upset by hail damage. Windmaster has a special reinforced dome designed to provide extra resistance against hail.
  • Large range of colours. Windmaster is available in an extensive range of Colorbond® colours.
  • Withstands sever wind and rain. In independent laboratory test, Windmaster withstood wind velocities of 180km/hr and satisfied the international Rain Dynamic Rain Penetration Test.
  • Lifetime Warranty. Edmonds offers a lifetime warranty on the body of the ventilator, for the original installation. A separate 10 year warranty is provided for the bearings but these are easily replaceable.
  • Fits all roof types. Windmaster's "Vari-Pitch" throat and malleable flashing suits all roof types with slopes from zero to 45°.

Rooftop Restorations can also recoat existing ventilators (in either Rooftop Colours or Colorbond®) to match in with your new roof.

Skylights – Solatube®

As part of a roof restoration, repair work or re-roof ask our friendly representative about installing a skylight in your home for a complete home rejuvenation package.

Transform dark or uninviting areas of your home with natural light from a Solatube skylight.
From dull hallways and dark linen cupboards to dreary laundries - you'll be amazed at the difference an award-winning Solatube skylight will make.

Why Choose a Solatube® Skylight?

  • Energy efficient sealed designs. Less heat is generated during summer with minimal heat loss during winter.
  • Increased light input and output. Solatube’s unique Light Intercepting Transfer Device (LITDTM), intercepts sunlight not in the direct path of the tube and transfers the light down the tubing.
  • UV treated and hail resistant, injection moulded acrylic domes.
  • Available in two sizes (250mm and 400mm).
  • Leak proof performance. Solatube’s selection of seamless flashings are fabricated as a single piece and suit virtually any roof type and pitch, including corrugated, metal and tiled roofs as pictured.

Where Can you Use a Skylight?

Virtually any area inside the home can be improved with a Solatube skylight. In fact, a Solatube skylight performs best in dark areas that have no source of natural light or receive minimal light. Make the most of every available space in your home with a Solatube skylight.

How does a Solatube skylight Work?

Skylights capture light through a dome on the roof and channel that light down through the tubing in your roof cavity. The result is natural light spread evenly throughout a room from a fixture (diffuser) on your ceiling.
